What is a tanker subsea valve

Tanker subsea valves are also called pneumatic valves, pneumatic subsea valves, emergency valves, and emergency shut-off valves. Since there were several high-speed and tunnel safety accidents of dangerous goods vehicles in China in 2014, relevant state departments have strengthened the supervision of tank vehicle manufacturers such as oil tankers, and GB 18564.1 issued by the Mobile Pressure Vessel Subcommittee of the National Pressure Vessel Standardization Committee -2006 “Tank Vehicles for Road Transport of Liquid Dangerous Goods Part 1: Technical Requirements for Metal Atmospheric Tanks” clearly stipulates that emergency shut-off valves should be installed at the bottom of the tank for road transport of liquid dangerous goods.
Structure and composition:
The tanker submarine valve is not only a channel used by the tanker to load and unload oil, but also a core component that controls the on and off of the oil circuit. It is mainly composed of a shell, a sealing mechanism, a control mechanism, a tank connection flange and an outlet flange. The sealing mechanism is installed in the tank body during installation and is connected to the tank bottom plate through the tank connection flange; The mechanism uses the elastic force of the stainless steel spring to perform axial automatic sealing so that the bottom valve is in a normally closed state; the opening and closing operations are performed through the control mechanism.
When the external unbalanced force is stimulated, the internal spring and valve stem can be triggered, thereby cutting off the oil pipeline within 10S, ensuring the safety of the medium in the car, preventing leakage, ignition, and explosion; protecting the driver’s friends, the goods in the car, and the related outside the car Property and biological safety!
